- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill (optional)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Black pepper to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray (for muffin tin)
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
-
Prepare the Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, feta, parmesan, egg, chopped spinach, dill (optional), minced garlic, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
-
Assemble the Puffs:
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it into 9 equal squares. Place each square in the muffin tin, gently pressing down to fit.
- Fill each pastry cup with the spinach mixture, then fold the corners of the pastry up to seal the filling inside. Brush the tops with an egg wash for a golden finish.
-
Bake:
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and puffed. Allow them to cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the tin.
Notes
- You can add mushrooms, artichokes, or bell peppers to the filling for extra veggies.
- Swap feta for goat cheese or ricotta for a different flavor.
- Add red pepper flakes if you want a bit of spice in your puffs.
