Ready in just 20 minutes, this quick and easy one-pan recipe is ideal for busy weeknights and loved by kids and adults alike. Serve them with rice, veggies, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter, divided
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken – Pat the chicken tenderloins dry with paper towels. Season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the Chicken – Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté the Garlic – In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce – Reduce heat to low. Stir in honey and soy sauce, allowing the sauce to simmer for a minute.
5️⃣ Coat the Chicken – Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing it in the honey-garlic sauce. Let it simmer for another minute.
6️⃣ Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with rice, vegetables, or a salad.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick – Add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for heat.
  • Citrus Twist – Stir in a tablespoon of fresh lemon or lime juice for a zesty flavor.
  • Gluten-Free Option – Use tamari or a gluten-free soy sauce alternative.
  • Dairy-Free – Swap butter for extra olive oil or dairy-free margarine.
