Description

These Copycat Pizza Hut Breadsticks are soft, buttery, and perfectly seasoned with garlic, Parmesan, and herbs. With a crispy golden crust and a fluffy interior, they taste just like the restaurant favorite! Serve them with marinara sauce for the ultimate homemade appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¾ cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Topping:

  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast:

    • In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.
    • Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
    • Add yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until dough forms.
  • Knead & Rise:

    • Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
    • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Shape the Breadsticks:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Roll dough into a ½-inch thick rectangle and cut into 12-15 strips.
    • Place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Season & Bake:

    • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and Parmesan.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
