Description

These Puff Pastry Cinnamon Twists are a quick and delicious treat made with flaky puff pastry, coated in cinnamon sugar, and baked to golden perfection. Perfect as a snack, dessert, or served with coffee or tea, they’re easy to make and irresistibly tasty!


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Optional Icing:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out creases.
  • Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  • Cut into ¾-inch wide strips and twist each strip.
  • Place twists on the baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • If desired, drizzle with icing before serving warm.
