Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- ½ cup mini M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x10-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and oats.
- In another bowl or with a mixer, cream together butter, peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add vanilla, egg, and egg yolk to the butter mixture, and mix well.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing as you go. Stir in mini chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
