Topped with creamy chocolate frosting, these fun and festive brownies are easy to make and perfect for holiday gatherings. The vibrant yellow and white layers are sure to impress everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 box dark chocolate brownie mix (plus the ingredients called for on the box)
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Yellow food coloring
  • 1 can creamy homestyle chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Bake the Brownies: Prepare the brownies according to the directions on the box. Let them cool completely.
  2. Make the Cadbury Egg Filling: In a bowl, cream together the corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Divide the mixture in half. Add yellow food coloring to one half.
  3. Layer the Filling: Spread the yellow mixture over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Then, spread the white filling over the yellow layer and refrigerate for another 15 minutes.
  4. Top with Frosting: Microwave the chocolate frosting for 30 seconds, stir, then pour about 2/3 of it over the layered brownies.
  5. Chill and Slice: Refrigerate or freeze for a few minutes until the frosting sets. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Customize the Layers: You can experiment with different food coloring or even add sprinkles for a festive touch.
  • Use Different Frosting: If you prefer, substitute store-bought frosting with homemade chocolate ganache.
  • Add Candy: Top the brownies with mini Cadbury Eggs or other Easter-themed candy for extra decoration.
