Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup steamed broccoli (finely chopped)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Olive oil, salt, and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Pound the chicken breasts to ½-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic, thyme, paprika, and red pepper flakes to make the filling.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the broccoli-cheese mixture, securing the filling with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Broil for 2-3 minutes to achieve a golden finish.
