Description
Barboucha (Couscous) is a traditional algerian dish most often served with a vegetable stew accompanied by meat, sometimes presented in a traditional terracotta tagine dish. The basic dish consists of the association of couscous (cereal) and a protein supply, meat, fish or chickpeas (legume playing the role of protein supply). It can also be eaten alone, flavored or plain, hot or cold, as a dessert with sugar or as a side dish.
