Ingredients
- 36 regular Oreo cookies (one 14.3-ounce package)
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened (brick-style, not spreadable)
- 16 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos:
- Place Oreos (with filling) in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
- Alternative method: Crush Oreos in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin.
- Mix with Cream Cheese:
- In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Roll into Balls:
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into smooth balls.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the Balls:
- Freeze for 20 minutes to firm up before dipping.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- Microwave chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Coat the Oreo Balls:
- Use a fork or toothpick to dip each ball into melted chocolate, tapping off excess.
- Place back on parchment paper and sprinkle with crushed Oreos or sprinkles before chocolate sets.
- Chill & Serve:
- Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
