Description

These No-Bake Oreo Balls are a rich, creamy, and chocolatey dessert made with just 3 ingredients! Perfect for holiday treats, parties, or a quick no-bake dessert, these Oreo truffles come together in minutes and are endlessly customizable with different coatings and toppings.

Ingredients

  • 36 regular Oreo cookies (one 14.3-ounce package)
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened (brick-style, not spreadable)
  • 16 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos:
    • Place Oreos (with filling) in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
    • Alternative method: Crush Oreos in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese:
    • In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Roll into Balls:
    • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into smooth balls.
    • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Freeze the Balls:
    • Freeze for 20 minutes to firm up before dipping.
  • Melt the Chocolate:
    • Microwave chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Coat the Oreo Balls:
    • Use a fork or toothpick to dip each ball into melted chocolate, tapping off excess.
    • Place back on parchment paper and sprinkle with crushed Oreos or sprinkles before chocolate sets.
  • Chill & Serve:
    • Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Mint Oreo Balls: Use Mint Oreos for a refreshing twist.
  • Golden Oreo Balls: Substitute Golden Oreos for a vanilla-flavored treat.
  • Double Chocolate: Dip in dark chocolate, then drizzle with white chocolate.
  • Peanut Butter Oreo Balls: Add ¼ cup peanut butter to the filling for a Reese’s-inspired version.
