This festive Antipasto Wreath is an easy and elegant holiday appetizer made with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, olives, and Italian cured meats. Arranged in a wreath shape and garnished with fresh rosemary, this no-cook dish is a flavorful, eye-catching addition to any gathering.
Ingredients
- Juno Bites Red Grape Tomatoes
- Mozzarella balls (or fresh mozzarella cut into cubes)
- Garlic-stuffed green olives and Kalamata olives (or your favorite pitted olives)
- Italian cured meats (salami, pepperoni, or soppressata)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
- Quality olive oil (for drizzling)
- Aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Wash and dry the grape tomatoes and basil. If using a large mozzarella ball, cut it into bite-sized cubes. Slice large cured meats into smaller, foldable pieces.
- Assemble Skewers: Thread ingredients onto toothpicks or small skewers, alternating tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, basil, and folded meats. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Create the Wreath: Arrange skewers in a circular pattern on a serving platter to form a wreath. Place fresh rosemary sprigs around the edges for decoration.
- Season & Drizzle: Lightly season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
