Description

This festive Antipasto Wreath is an easy and elegant holiday appetizer made with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, olives, and Italian cured meats. Arranged in a wreath shape and garnished with fresh rosemary, this no-cook dish is a flavorful, eye-catching addition to any gathering.

Ingredients

  • Juno Bites Red Grape Tomatoes
  • Mozzarella balls (or fresh mozzarella cut into cubes)
  • Garlic-stuffed green olives and Kalamata olives (or your favorite pitted olives)
  • Italian cured meats (salami, pepperoni, or soppressata)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
  • Quality olive oil (for drizzling)
  • Aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Wash and dry the grape tomatoes and basil. If using a large mozzarella ball, cut it into bite-sized cubes. Slice large cured meats into smaller, foldable pieces.
  • Assemble Skewers: Thread ingredients onto toothpicks or small skewers, alternating tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, basil, and folded meats. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  • Create the Wreath: Arrange skewers in a circular pattern on a serving platter to form a wreath. Place fresh rosemary sprigs around the edges for decoration.
  • Season & Drizzle: Lightly season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Place the wreath at the center of your table and serve with extra olive oil and balsamic glaze on the side.

Notes

  • Cheese Swap: Use burrata, provolone, or goat cheese for variety.
  • Meat Options: Try mortadella, coppa, for different flavors.
  • Vegan Version: Replace cheese with marinated tofu or roasted red peppers.
  • Extra Crunch: Add breadsticks or roasted nuts around the wreath
